Stable value investment products are offered to ERISA-qualified Defined Contribution [401(k)] and Profit Sharing plans. As of December 2007, stable value assets totaled more than $416 billion.
The Product
All General Account GICs offer the following:
- Preservation of principal and accumulated interest
- Book value payment for plan benefits
- Book value accounting
- Competitive rates of return
Flexible features include lump sum or window deposits, simple or compound interest, and bullet or installment maturities.
