Pacific Life and Pacific Life & Annuity Introduce
Planned Performance Tracking

Newport Beach, CA. (May 24, 2007) – Today’s cars indicate when it’s time for service, so why not do the same for life insurance policies? That is the inspiration for Planned Performance Tracking from Pacific Life Insurance Company and Pacific Life & Annuity. This new web-based system uses state of the art technology to deliver automated reminders, completed inforce illustrations, no lapse calculators and a host of tools to insurance professionals selling the companies’ life insurance products.

Alyce Peterson, vice president of marketing services for the Life Insurance Division of Pacific Life said that an illustration for a life insurance policy is a snapshot of numbers under a set of assumptions. Since so much can change along the way – interest rates, client changes, and more –, a life insurance policy needs monitoring and periodic review to help clients accomplish their financial goals.

“Planned Performance Tracking makes this necessary monitoring and review easier,” explained Peterson. “Automated tools like scheduling inforce illustrations means an insurance professional can spend more time in front of new and existing clients and less time on paperwork. Pacific Life and Pacific Life & Annuity are the only carriers offering this type of service to insurance professionals today.”

With Planned Performance Tracking, insurance professionals can:

  • Set schedules for automatic online delivery of inforce illustrations with up to three scenarios per illustration.
  • Schedule reminders for illustrated policy changes such as switching the death benefit option in future years.
  • Pick up completed illustrations or schedule reminders in a centralized, secure location.

With a few clicks in Planned Performance Tracking, insurance professionals can access:

  • Client-ready policy coverage summary;
  • Premium, loan and withdrawal history;
  • “As issued” illustrations;
  • No lapse benefit calculator to get a client’s no lapse benefits back on track if they skipped a premium or made a policy change;

Planned Performance Tracking is currently available through Pacific Life’s and Pacific Life & Annuity’s producer web site, Lifeline.PacificLife.com. Producers interested in learning more about this exciting new web-based system can contact their Pacific Life or Pacific Life & Annuity representative.
